Ogg vorbis is now recompiled, and it all seems to work fine. However, I had some issues with DirectSound notifications. I used to have a 5.1 sound card in my PC, but I took it out to put into our media center. So now I'm just using my onboard sound, and it doesn't like notifications very much. It's all fine when there's only one streaming buffer playing, but when you start another one, the notifications screw up - notifications are hit 30ms apart, in the wrong order and so on. My thread about it is Here. Thanks again to Abominacion [smile]

I'll have to try running one hardware buffer and one non-hardware, and see how that works. Although the performance shouldn't be too bad anyway, all my buffers will be the same frequency, bit depth, etc.

I'll also have to try my app on my media center to check that the notifications work on that. I don't think it'll be much of an issue really, there'll only be one streaming sound playing at once usually, or perhaps 2. Static sounds might not even need notifications at all.
